OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., July 12, 2010
The Leadership Oklahoma Board of Directors recently elected Leslie Paris, Senior Vice President and Manager of Corporate Community Relations for Bank of Oklahoma in Tulsa, to be chair of the organization’s 2010-2011 Board of Directors. Leadership Oklahoma is entering its twenty-fourth year as a statewide leadership development program designed to identify, teach and challenge the leaders of our state. This program has had a positive impact on the entire state with the number of program graduates now over 1,170 representing communities from Idabel to Guymon and Altus to Miami. This Board is representative of that membership and has the energy and vision to continue the goal of creating a dynamic network of leaders to shape Oklahoma’s future and to fulfill Leadership Oklahoma’s vision of Oklahoma leaders making Oklahoma the leader.
The board also elected members of its executive committee for the upcoming year. Those elected include: Vice Chair/Chair-Elect/Chair-Administration, Rhonda Hooper, Oklahoma City; Secretary/Treasurer/Chair-Finance Committee, Terry Hague, Oklahoma City; Chair-Marketing/PR Committee, Lana Reynolds, Seminole; Chair-Development Committee, Renzi Stone, Oklahoma City; Chair-Membership, Shannon Rich, Oklahoma City; Chair-Youth Program Committee, Cheryl Evans, Enid; Chair-Adult Program Committee, Nancy Hall, Oklahoma City; Immediate past Chair Bill Burgess, Jr., of Lawton was elected to be the Chair – Nominating Committee. At-large members of the executive committee are Joe Alexander, Stillwater; Ron Cunningham, Anadarko; Peter Dillingham, Enid; Robyn Ewing, Tulsa; Jesse Langston, Oklahoma City; Joe Moran, Tulsa; Cristy Morrison, Stillwater; and Charles Sherman, Purcell.
