The Leadership Oklahoma Board of Directors recently elected Leslie Paris, Senior Vice President and Manager of Corporate Community Relations for Bank of Oklahoma in Tulsa, to be chair of the organization’s 2010-2011 Board of Directors. Leadership Oklahoma is entering its twenty-fourth year as a statewide leadership development program designed to identify, teach and challenge the leaders of our state. This program has had a positive impact on the entire state with the number of program graduates now over 1,170 representing communities from Idabel to Guymon and Altus to Miami. This Board is representative of that membership and has the energy and vision to continue the goal of creating a dynamic network of leaders to shape Oklahoma’s future and to fulfill Leadership Oklahoma’s vision of Oklahoma leaders making Oklahoma the leader.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., June 18, 2010 — 51 upcoming high school seniors from across the state graduated from Youth Leadership Oklahoma’s Class X on Friday, June 18, in Oklahoma City.

These outstanding students were selected based on demonstrated leadership in their schools and communities. Leadership Oklahoma created YLOK with a mission to develop young leaders who feel hope, pride and responsibility for Oklahoma’s future.
