2012 Excellence in Leadership Gala

The 2012 Excellence in Leadership Gala will be held on February 11, 2012 at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma City and will chaired by Natalie Shirley and Russ Harrison.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have used their leadership abilities to improve the quality of life for Oklahoma's citizens and its future generations.
   2012 Award Recipient: Melvin Moran


The Distinguished Graduate Award
honors a Leadership Oklahoma graduate whose recent leadership activities have exemplified the highest standards of Leadership Oklahoma and whose activities achieved results or set an example of statewide significance.
   2012 Award Recipient: Bill W. Burgess, Jr.


The Business Leadership Award
commends a business entity for its impact in promoting leadership principles and practice, implementing programs worthy of example, and fostering the growth of quality leadership.

The Statewide Community Award acknowledges an organization or company that, through specific projects or efforts, has reached across valued differences to develop among Oklahomans a sense of common purpose and a more profound sense of loyalty to their state. This award has been created to promote a heightened sense of appreciation for the possibilities available when Oklahomans work together as a single statewide community.

2011 Excellence in Leadership Gala

The 2011 Excellence in Leadership Gala was held on February 12, 2011 at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa and was chaired by Darcey and Joe Moran.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have used their leadership abilities to improve the quality of life for Oklahoma's citizens and its future generations.
Award Recipient: Barry Layne Switzer

The Distinguished Graduate Award honors a Leadership Oklahoma graduate whose recent leadership activities have exemplified the highest standards of Leadership Oklahoma and whose activities achieved results or set an example of statewide significance.
Award Recipient: Randy A. Foutch

The Business Leadership Award commends a business entity for its impact in promoting leadership principles and practice, implementing programs worthy of example, and fostering the growth of quality leadership.
Award Recipient: Groendyke Transport

The Statewide Community Award acknowledges an organization or company that, through specific projects or efforts, has reached across valued differences to develop among Oklahomans a sense of common purpose and a more profound sense of loyalty to their state. This award has been created to promote a heightened sense of appreciation for the possibilities available when Oklahomans work together as a single statewide community.
Award Recipient: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma

2010 Excellence in Leadership Awards Gala

The 2010 Leadership in Excellence Awards Gala was held on February 20, 2010 at the Skirvin Hilton in Tulsa.  Donna (Class XII) and Bruce Lawrence (Class XX) along with Suzanne (Class XX) and Jim McAuley (Class XVII) were the co-chairs. The evening began with a reception followed by dinner and presentation of the awards. At the conclusion, there was a dessert reception, at which time our guests were able to visit with each other more and congratulate our honorees.

The 2009 Leadership Awards Gala was held on February 21, 2009 at the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa.  Dave (Class XVIII) and Brittany Kollmann along with Mike (Class XXI) and Jana Neal were the co-chairs. The evening began with a reception followed by dinner and presentation of the awards. At the conclusion, there was a dessert reception, at which time our guests were able to visit with each other more and congratulate our honorees.
